Art Intake / Hanging Day: Saturday, October 5, 9:00 a.m.-noon

Drop off artwork with the completed Consignment & Waiver Forms and $30 entry fee. You must have paid your 2024 member dues to exhibit. You may enter up to 6 pieces which have not been previously exhibited at LJCC in 2023. Please review the Member Exhibition Requirements that outlines expectations for all Exhibitors. Effort to place all your pieces will be made, if it is not possible, your extra piece/s will be kept as alternate, in case of sales. Artists scheduled to exhibit in Galleries G or P (Great Room and Las Patronas) don’t have these limits. Sold artwork will be replaced by designated “alternates”. All Exhibiting Artists must volunteer in some capacity to support the Exhibition.
Labels:
Artists must prepare their own labels for all artwork using the Wall Tag Template. This template is available on the website.
Your artwork must be clearly identified on the back with title and your name. Accepted media for this exhibition are: oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, photography, and digital art prints.
Public Art Reception: TBD
After our Aesthetic Art Committee places and hangs all accepted artwork; you will receive a map of the LJCC Art Galleries with the location of your work; this will also be placed at the entrance of the Center. The Artist Reception will be on the third Thursday of the first month of the show from 4-6pm. Beverages and light snacks will be served.
You are welcome to bring smaller original (hand painted, not copies) pieces of work and/or printed cards for sale during the Reception, at a GIFT SHOP table we will set up for exhibiting artists only. You must be ready to sit with your work, and conduct the sale.
Pick Up Artwork: TBD
Stop by LJCC to pick up your artwork or send somebody with a note authorizing them to pick up your work. Storage fees may be charged for work not picked up in a timely manner.
INSURANCE: Because La Jolla Art Association offers this public exhibition at the non profit La Jolla Community Center and not a commercial art gallery, art and artifact insurance is not provided for objects on loan to our exhibitions. You are encouraged to maintain your ongoing insurance arrangements while objects are in our care, custody and control.
